The Spar 88 and Spar 78 have been flagship skis in the Folsom lineup since their inception. New for the 20/21 season, we are excited to expand the Spar series further with the introduction of the Spar Turbo. With a lightning fast turning radius and radically new tip and tail shapes, the Spar Turbo is sure to stand out in the crowd.
With final prototypes coming through production, the ski has dimensions of 148-94-120mm, and an 11m, 13m, or 15m radius depending on the length. Lengths of the new shape span a whopping 152cm to 186cm range as well.
“The Spar Turbo completes the Spar Family in the form of a truly badass carving ski” says Folsom Chief of Operations Max Tabor. “The ski perfectly executes mega-short turns but is wide enough to track through mixed snow conditions and even deeper snow with grace and style.”

After crowd sourcing two different tip shape options, we are excited to be moving forward with the supercar-inspired “Lotus” tip and tail shapes, representing Folsom’s first asymmetrical tip shape.
