Folsom Skis at Freeskier Magazine’s 2018 Ski Test

After a 1-year hiatus in Snowbird, Freeskier Magazine’s annual ski test was moved back to its proper home of Aspen this year and Folsom Skis made the trek for an action packed week of ski testing.  With a trusty quiver of skis, we packed up our Subaru and hit the road to Aspen bringing with us our Primary, Trigger II, Cash 106, Gold Digger, and Pow Fish shapes to be put through the wringer by Freeskier’s team of testers.

We were blessed with 8” of overnight snow going into Day 1 which meant it was go time for the 115mm+ skis right off the bat.  The snow got firmer as the week progressed which meant the skis being tested trended smaller in width, but rest assured, there was no shortage of smiles and high fives.

As we expected, our skis received overwhelmingly positive reactions, leaving the testers grinning from ear to ear after each run on Folsom skis.  Here are some staff shots from the week…

But we mostly skied TRN TEK’s all week…
